Bio

I started writing as a child when the books I wanted to read were very hard to find.

In the 1980s before the Internet, I scoured the library for love stories with disabled boys. I got very good at gauging from a single word of a title or the corner of a cover whether the book would have what I was looking for.

There were never enough and so I started writing my own.

For a long time as a teen I struggled with communicating. I never felt able to express myself in spoken word. Writing was the only way I could express myself to others and understand myself.

Eventually I started questioning my desire to read about disabled men and spent ten years writing a novel that dug deep into my psyche.

That book became (W)hole. Over the years I came to accept this side of myself, dated many disabled men, became more comfortable expressing myself in speech.

I walked away from fiction writing.

Real life became more consuming. I got married, I had children, I started a career in digital marketing. And then books found me again as people began asking me to apply my marketing expertise to their books.

Now some ten years later I'm coming back to writing novels with a lot more knowledge and experience to bring to my books.
